She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hinton and Marjorie Hinton (Swiger); and her sisters, Marjorie LaComb of Meriden, Stacey Wilson of Wallingford and Sharon Rose of Florida.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brianna, Cassandra Oslander, Asianna Vega, Matthew, Adam and Landon Harper; her sister Lori Miller; her brother-in-law Greg Miller of East Hampton; and her brothers, Jeffrey Hinton of Berlin, Chester Hinton of South Carolina and Greg Rose of East Hampton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
