He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Alba (Bonavita); his parents, Kurt Alba and Hildegard Alba (Becker); and his siblings, Rosi Siciliano and Hartmut Alba.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Alba Quaranto (Paul) of Marlborough and Jason Michael Alba (Kareen) of Vernon; his brother Ray Alba of Yukon; his grandchildren, Kayla Tortorelli and Dylan Alba; and his great grandchildren, Brielle and Joseph Tortorelli (JT). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
