He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Swanson and Minnie Swanson (Avery); and his siblings, Butch, Bill, Ed Swanson, Edith Bilodeau (Swanson), Doris Gustafson (Swanson) and Evelyn Misluk (Swanson).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Swanson (Hein); his close friend Rhett; and his friend Joe La Bella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
