He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia M. Brown (Johnson); his parents, John F. Brown and Anna L. Brown (Boyle); and his sibling Judge Francis B. Brown. He is survived by: his sons, John (Susan), Michael (Joyce), Kevin (Sandy) and Patrick (Colleen); his grandchildren, Cathy Sears (Nick), Joseph Brown (Lena), Becky Edwards (Dan), Jessie, Nicole, Francis and Lilly Brown; his great grandchild Elizabeth Edwards; his sister Nancy A.; his siblings-in-law, James E. Bradley of Newark, OH and Ann R. Brown-Sauté (Quinlan) of Cumberland, RI.; and his siblings, Paul E. Brown and Maryann L. Crowley.
