We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2024, at the age of 45, Troy Joseph Franklin Curtis of Mansfield Center, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Troy Joseph Franklin may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Curtis and Loretta Fay Curtis (Moquin). He is survived by: his significant other Vanessa Atienza Curtis; and his siblings, Pascha Lemnah, Linda Henderson, Diane Pettigrew (Kirk), Patricia Forbes, Rachael C. Rivers Bogert (Rick) and Donald Rivers (Linda). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, along with a multitude of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bacon Funeral Home (71 Prospect St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Storrs Congregational Church (2 N Eagleville Rd, Storrs, CT 06268).
