He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Sherman and Beulah E. "Bunny" Sherman (Dean); and his former wife Mary. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Sherman (Pride) of Mansfield Center, CT; his siblings, Arthur Michael "Mike" Sherman (Karen) of Texas, Robert Dean Sherman (Trudi) of Pennsylvania and Victoria "Vickie" Nastus of New Jersey; and his close friend John "Chip" Kelley, III.
