We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 97, John W. Freudenstein of Mansfield Center, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Freudenstein and Hulda Freudenstein (Hildner). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Schmidt of Norwich; his children, Tom (Janet) of Shakopee, MN, Jim (Elaine) of Houston, TX and Ellen Gillon of Chaplin, CT; his grandchildren, Christine (Jason), Heidi (Pete), Kurt, Emma, Laura (Kyle), Stephen, Melody and Lincoln (Lisa); his cousin Lois Wylie of Frankenmuth, MI; and his stepchildren, Bonnie Shipman and David Wheeler. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
