It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilfred D. Sawyer (Manchester, Connecticut), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sawyer and Pearl Sawyer (Bodo); and his sister Terry Frost. He is survived by: his wife Bonita A. Sawyer (Gagnon); his sons, Christopher Sawyer (Kasha) of Ellington, Mark Sawyer of Colchester and Trevor Sawyer (Cory) of Ellington; his grandchildren, Devan, Jacob, Jadin and Brody; and his brother David Sawyer (Phyllis). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Living God (199 Deming St, Manchester, CT 06042).
