The memory of Sandra B. Shimeld of Manchester, Connecticut, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Blevins and Ruth Blevins (Finley). She is survived by: her husband John Shimeld; her children, Janet (Cindy Hurd), Wayne and Marilyn Shimeld; her siblings, Peggy Huddleston and Gail Andrew (Robert); her niece Barbara Huddleston (Dan); and her nephews, Carl Huddleston (Jan) and Phillip Andrew (Debi). She is also survived by great nieces and a nephew; and other close relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
