He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson (Betty); his wife Noreen Toth (Rene) of Woodstock; and his granddaughter Victoria L. Nelson. He is survived by: his brother Rev. David D. Nelson; his close friend Catharen M. White of Mansfield, Connecticut.; his sons, Neal Nelson (Maria) of Andover, Connecticut, Kirk Nelson of New Bedford, Massachusetts, Eric Nelson (Emily Costello) of Winchester, Massachusetts. and Wesley Nelson (Libby); his grandchildren, Reggie and Ruth; his daughter Miranda Nelson Grover (Chris); his grandchildren, Daemien, Syris, Harlan and Xander; his child Chase Nelson; and his grandchildren, Betsy (Eric), Lucca and Ella.
