He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Reynolds Derewianka; and his sister Helen Ross. He is survived by: his son Michael (Pamela) of Connecticut; his grandchildren, John and Anna; his children, Carole Konrad-Lahowetz (Tom Lahowetz) of Tennessee and David Derewianka (Catherine) of Florida; his grandson Alex (Yisel); and his great grandchildren, Jade and Evan of Florida.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the East Cemetery (240 E Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A reception will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rockville Church of the Nazarene (47 East St, Vernon, CT 06066).
