With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Giovino of Manchester, Connecticut, born in Windham, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Giovino; her siblings, Alton Lathrop, Owen Lathrop and Francis Lathrop Adler; and her parents, Alton Burdick Lathrop and Sarah Turner Lathrop.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Repass (Kandianna Valiotis) and Christopher; her daughter-in-law Brandi Repass of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Haley, Madison, Michael and Alex; and her former husband John Repass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. James Cemetery (368 Broad St, Manchester, CT 06040).
