It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean E. Derby (Manchester, Connecticut), who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean E. Derby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Derby; her parents, Emma Britt and Paul Britt; her brother Stephen; her sister-in-law Ann Britt; and her niece Catherine Marie Britt.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Sharon) of Troy, NY, Susan of Manchester, CT and Sharon (Randy) of Brooklyn, NY.; her granddaughters, Laura (Dave), Melanie (Treavor) and Mollie (Shea); her great grandchildren, James and Paul; and her sister Sheelah Britt of Woburn, MA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gilead Congregational Church or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research.
