He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Richert and Mary Carlson Richert; his daughter Colleen; and his siblings, Marvin, Donald and JoAnn Gladding (Miles Gladding).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Berggren Richert of South Windsor, CT.; his son John (Cara); his grandchildren, Cori and Keith; his daughter Donna Violette (Brian); his grandchild Ryan (Cassidy); his great grandchild Ryker (Nicole); his stepdaughter Terri Slezak (Philip); his stepgrandsons, Stephen and Peter; his brother Clyde; and his brother-in-law Dick Berggren (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the The Salvation Army (661 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040).
