He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Burkett (McGann); his children, Shawn Burkett (Jennifer) of South Windsor and Kristen Burkett of Vernon; his grandchildren, Logan Burkett (Abigail Bouwer) of Norfolk, VA and Madelynn Burkett of East Granby; and his siblings, Donnie Reeves (Robin) of Texas and Kay Hook (Gerald) of Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
