She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Martin; her mother Circle; her sister Helen; and her nieces and nephews, Carrollyn Foster (Matt), Holly Davis and Bill Davis.
She is survived by: her close friends, Kathy, Brian Walsh of Berlin, John, Betsy Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cindy Martin, Paul Lott of Manchester, Christine, Kevin Thompson of Tolland and Sharon Sheridan of Broad Brook; and her grandchildren, Megan Drury (Steuart Drury), Abby Zuber (Jon Zuber), Devon Martin (Kaity Martin), Alex, Leah and Callen Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the John F Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption (27 Adams St S, Manchester, CT 06040). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. James Cemetery (368 Broad St, Manchester, CT 06040).
In lieu of flowers, Betty's family requests memorial donations be made to MACC Charities of Manchester (macc-ct.org).
