She was predeceased by: her spouse Indulis "Indy" Grasis; and her parents, Adolfs Cops and Benita Cops (Brozins). She is survived by: her stepfather Jekabs Plavins; her children, Andra Sarmite Grasis (Steven Zapantis) of Virginia, Peter Grasis (Melissa) of Virginia and Robert Grasis (Carol) of Vernon, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Heidi Cooper (Glenn), Kiley Grasis, Isabel Grasis, Jacob Grasis (McKenzie), John Grasis, Rebecca Blaisdell and Logan Blaisdell; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Nolan Cooper; her half-sister Astrid Liepins of Canada; and her cousin Laila Kienel of Belgium. She is also survived by relatives in Latvia and neighbors and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home (400 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Transfiguration Romanian Orthodox Church (2 Winter St, Manchester, CT 06040).
