He is survived by: his son Sean McGovern (Jilleyan) of Madison, CT; his grandchildren, Quinn and Reese; his children, Kathleen McGovern (Huseyin Kar) of New Haven, CT and Patrick McGovern (Anna); and his granddaughter Frances of Guilford, CT..
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Rita's Church (1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517).
