It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Gertsch Jr. of Madison, Connecticut, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Gertsch, Sr. and Dorothy M. Gertsch (Thiede); and his son James Gertsch. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Gertsch (Goodrich); his children, Debbie Reilly (Frank) of East Haven and John Gertsch (Elizabeth) of Salisbury, Maryland; his grandchildren, Stephanie Gertsch and Russell Gertsch; and his siblings, Dorothy Schlauch, Edward, Paul and William Gertsch.
