He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Towne and Dorothy Towne; and his brother Robert Towne Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Medlin Towne; his son Tom Towne of Brooksville, FL; his grandson Jacob Towne; his daughter Stephanie Round (Geoffrey) of Litchfield; his grandson Gunnar Round; and his siblings, Alan Towne (Pat) of Morris and Cheryl Towne of Torrington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the VFW or The American Legion.
