She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Charlebois Murphy and Philip Murphy; her husband Joseph McDevitt Sr.; and her sister Mary Chaisson. She is survived by: her children, Kelly of Boulder, CO., Colleen (Stanley Scott) of Tahoe City, CA., Mary of Litchfield, CT., Kerry of New Preston, CT., Shannon (Robert Gollow) of Litchfield, CT., Joseph Jr. (Oliver Graves) of San Francisco, CA. and Matthew (Jamie) of Bantam, CT.; her grandchildren, Reilly, Jack, Emma and Lily; her siblings, Elizabeth Sabella of Ridgefield, CT. and Philip Murphy (Sally) of Canton, GA.; her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Creed and Katherine Barrett; her sister Margaret McDevitt; and her brother-in-law Matthew McDevitt of Rutland, VT.. She is also survived by mother to her seven children.
