He is survived by: his wife Nelda Jacobs of Litchfield; his sons, John Jacobs, Jr. of Litchfield and Karl Jacobs (Lisa) of Hampton; his granddaughters, Julia Torrant (Adam) of Harwinton and Jenna Jacobs of Hampton; his great grandchildren, Averyll and Lily Torrant of Harwinton; and his brothers, Harry Jacobs (Elizabeth) of Yakima and Peter Jacobs (Eleanor) of Harwinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
