She is survived by: her parents, Garry Elmer and Cheryl Elmer of Mystic; her husband James Monroe Jr. of Waterford; her children, Christopher, Nicholas and Alyssa; her siblings, James Elmer and Abby Magee (Ryan); her father-in-law James Monroe Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Denise Reid and Paula Monroe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
