He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Derda (Dalfonso) and Chester Robert Derda. He is survived by: his son Matthew Robert; his stepdaughter Lauren Gale; his sisters, Kathleen Standish and Nancy LaFlamme; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Davis (Madeline), Connor LaFlamme, Rachelle LaFlamme and Kaitlyn Standish.
