Richard Charles Roy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Charles Roy of Ledyard, Connecticut, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Roy and Cecelia Brooks Roy; his wife Carol Meskiewicz; and his sisters, Germaine and Rita.
He is survived by: his caregiver Zak; his brother Jim Roy (Jeanne); his daughters, Debbie Gunter (Wes), Darcie Flight (Dan) and Denise Roy; his stepdaughters, Lynda McAuliffe (Jim), Lisa McGee (Mike) and Cheryl Jackson (Todd); his grandchildren, Sarah DeLeo (Josh), Samantha Rowley, Zachary Flight (Denielle), Nicole Rowley, Benjamin Flight (Ashton) and Jessica Rossman; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Kayleigh, Nicolas, Melody, Michael, Alex, Shelby, Landon and Jaxson; and his pets, Sebastian and Charlie.
