She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Burgess and Edna Burgess; her husband Albert J Grandy Jr. (Skip); and her siblings, Warren, Leslie, Paul Burgess and Priscilla Barton.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Grandy (Constance) of Bristol, CT and Jeffrey Grandy (Anne) of Goode, VA; and her grandchildren, Laura Parker (Jonathan), Melanie Grandy (Jason Richer) and Alex Parker. She is also survived by animals, and her love for her family.
