He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Vega and Julia Vega; his wife Sara Vega of World's Fair; and his siblings, Israel Vega, Diomedes Vega (Eddie), Samuel Vega and Irene Vega Aponte.
He is survived by: his children, Brendaly Vega, Welbi Vega (Mary), Eaphel Vega and Millie Vega; his grandchildren, Bowen Vega-Coburn, Sara Vega, Hannah Vega and Noah Vega; and his siblings, Celia Vega Aponte, Mercedes Vega Aponte and Tito Vega. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
