He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Prentice "R. P." Clayton and Willie Clayton (Davenport); his former wife Mervonne "Bonnie" R. Clayton (Garrelts); his son Bobby Lee, Jr.; and his wife Mildred E. Clayton (Bodanza).
He is survived by: his son David L. Clayton (Cheryl). He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
