Burgess (Ledyard, Connecticut), born in Mystic, Connecticut, who passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. Burgess, Sr.; her parents, John Whittle and Annie Whittle (Lamb); and her siblings, John Whittle and Nancy DiMella.
She is survived by: her children, Skip Burgess (Teresa) of Preston and Cheryl Underwood (Kelly) of Gales Ferry; her siblings, Pat Coombe of Mystic and Peter Whittle (Holly Rood); and her grandchildren, Brandon Burgess, Rebecca Mulcahy (Patrick) and Hayley Underwood.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to the ALS Association.
