It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan J. Bender of Lebanon, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph, Sr. Parker and Della Parker (Porter); her husband John "Jack" Bender, Sr.; and her brothers, Ralph, Jr., Norbert, Samuel and Raymond Parker.
She is survived by: her son Carl Bender (Anna) of Lebanon, CT; her grandchildren, Alex Bender of Nashville, TN and Andee Bender of St. Paul, MN; her brother Richard Parker (Ann) of Mansfield, CT; and her close friend Michael Manning. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
