She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Healy and Irene Healy; and her son Richard Monroe. She is survived by: her husband Byron W. Monroe of Dauphin Island; her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Jim Compton of Glen Allen, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Jessica, James and Patrick Compton (Molly).
