He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph, Jack, Alexander and Stephen; and his granddaughter Emily Abel.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Corcoran Montgomery; his children, Ellen Abel, Amy Nowlan of North Adams, MA, Lauren Montgomery-Rinehart and Lawrence Montgomery Jr. of Lebanon, CT; his sisters, Ann Montgomery and Eileen Montgomery; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Abel Pabst, Alexandra, Thomas, John, Catherine Nowlan, Liam Rinehart, Abraham Rinehart, Kiera Montgomery and Logan Montgomery.
Lawrence "Larry" Joseph Montgomery Sr., 86, of Lebanon, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on October 19, 2018 after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
