John William Furnia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Furnia of Lebanon, Connecticut, who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Furnia and Florence Furnia (Shambo); and his siblings, Clemis, Una Jaquish, Delmore, Julia McCullough, Daniel and Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Jodi; his daughters, Colleen Furnia and Renee May; his grandchildren, Rachel Ellis, Wyatt May and Lizette May; and his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Madrid. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (67 W Town St, Lebanon, CT 06249). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
