She was predeceased by: her parents, Normand LaFontaine and Ruth LaFontaine (Lavake). She is survived by: her husband Frank; her daughter Kimberly Benevides; her grandchildren, Alexis and John Benevides; and her brother Robert LaFontaine. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
