He is survived by: his wife Alberta Olson; his children, Melissa Hayes, Amy Taylor (Francisco Hughes), Nathan Hawkins (Nancy Graf Harwood) and Dan Hawkins (Caroline Johnson); his grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Jason Clute), Jocelyn Taylor (Matt Nilson), Maggie Gaier (Jaron Gaier), John Hayes (Courtney Hayes), Theo Vizcaino-Hayes (Luisa Vizcaino-Hayes), Henry Hawkins and Luca Hawkins; his great grandchildren, Isador Gaier, Raymond Gaier and Arlene Hayes; his sister Phyllis; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Johnson and Robert Olson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
