He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Chesmer and Ellen Chesmer (Brown); his wife Dorothy Chesmer (Dixon); and his siblings, Kath Chess, Arthur G. Chesmer of Canada and Henry Chesmer of England.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Grace Steggall, Eva Shirley, Mabel Chesmer, Bill Wetherall, James Shirley and Fred Chess; his son-in-law Arthur Breault; his nephews, Graham Chesmer, Arthur F. Chesmer (Barbara), Gordon Black, Ron Corey, Myles Standish and Corin Standish; his children, Robin Chesmer (Kathryn), Lynda Breault and Patricia McMahon (James); his grandchildren, Lisa Chesmer (David Hevner), Lincoln Chesmer (Amy), Neil Breault (Amy), Andrea Moshier (Douglas), Brenden McMahon, Kyle McMahon (Natalie) and Colby McMahon; his niece Sandra Chesmer; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Claire Chesmer (David Mieczynski) and Scott Chesmer (Lisa Vincent); his nieces, Lenore Corey and June Black; and also, Sebastian Tonewo (Ashley Desrosiers), Karen Leif, Madi Douchette and Debra Breault.
