With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Blodget Kent of Lakeville, Connecticut, born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Elizabeth Blodget is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elizabeth Blodget's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred I. Kent II; her parents, Eleanor Blodget and Francis Malbone Blodget; and her brother Francis Malbone Blodget, Jr. (Tod). She is survived by: her children, Fred I. Kent (Kathy Madden), Nancy (Tom Henry) and Peter (Alice Kent). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Essex Meadows Employee Appreciation Fund which supports the many wonderful employees who supported her since 1989, and cared for her over the last few years in the Health Center.
