He was predeceased by: his mother Irene McAnneny; and his brother Leonard Poryanda. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Poryanda (Gerolami) of Killingworth; his daughters, Olivia Poryanda and Emma Poryanda; his stepson Paul Colaresi; his brothers, Daniel Poryanda and Matthew Poryanda; his mother-in-law Johanna Gerolami; and his pets, Rudy, Calvin, Barney and Charlie. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (84 N Colony St, Wallingford, CT 06492).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a local animal shelter or rescue organization.
