She was predeceased by: her parent Wesley J. Catri; and her sister-in-law Katie Catri. She is survived by: her parent Palma DeRuosi Catri of Killingworth; her husband George; her daughters, Taragh McQueeney (William McDonald) of Eureka, CA and Jennifer McQueeney of Killingworth; her grandson Eric McQueeney of Killingworth; her siblings, Wesley Catri, Robin Werner (Wes), Brian Catri (Anne Marie) and Nancy Catri; and her pet Bailey.

Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Killingworth.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Penny's name may be made to: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
