Gary Hale Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Hale of Killingworth, Connecticut, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, David Hale, Barbara Hale, Ruth Giddings (Hale), Robert V. Hale, Richard Hale, Pauline Peckham (Hale), Betty King (Hale), Allen Hale (Charlie), Marjorie Hall (Hale) and Lawrence F. Hale.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Hale (Steele); his sister June Swedberg (Hale); and his brother-in-law Dudley Swedberg of Minnesota. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to the Valley Shore Animal Welfare League, 47 Horse Hill Rd. Westbrook, CT 06498.

“Uncle Gary was always a pleasure to talk to. He was a great conversationalist, and we will miss him dearly. I enjoyed hearing about his golf adventures and his daily walks. He loved going to lunch with Susan and playing with his neighbor's dog. Rest in peace Uncle Gary.”
