He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis Kania, Sr. and Rita Barbara Kania (Cyr). He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Kania Fabian, Maryann Lalumiere (Richard) and Pamela Dion (David); and his sisters-in-law, Dianne Kania and Eileen Kania. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
