It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Merow (Killingly, Connecticut), born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace H. Merow and Josephine E. Merow (Borders); his wife Betty; his children, Gena, Todd (Ania) and Cory (Beth); his grandsons, Jack, Nick and Alex; his sisters, Donna Mercier of Danielson, CT, Nancy Fitzsimmons of Bluffton and Linda Bowen; his pet Henry; and his devoted bichon Elsie.
A celebration of Gene's life will be held Sunday, November 13th at 2:00pm at Westfield Church (memorial donations can be made there), 210 Main Street., Killingly.
