It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Jacqueline Mathieu (Killingly, Connecticut), born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Joly, Sr. and Irene Joly (Bernier); her husband Ernest "Bud" Mathieu; her sons, Gregg and Glenn Mathieu; and her siblings, Beatrice, Gloria and Ernest "Junior" Joly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Mathieu (Ron Sorensen) and Stacey Poole (Rob Poole); her granddaughters, Morgan and Chelsea; her great grandchildren, Natalia, Meckenzie, Zoey and Ava; and her siblings, Lucienne Mathieu and Bobby Joly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
