He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Gedney (Beckert) and Warren Gedney; his sister Cynthia James (Phil); his nephew Brian James; and his pet Trudy.
He is survived by: his wife Karleen Gedney (Kerr); his children, Kim Gedney (Frank Kennedy), Kellie Panteleakos (Stephen) and Paul Gedney (Holly); his niece Carla (Michael Hill) of Needham Heights, MA; his brother Bill; his siblings-in-law, Rose Ross of Southington, CT and Rob Kerr (Linda) of Moosup, CT.; his nieces, Jeannette Ross of Newry and Elizabeth Ross of Southington, CT; and his nephew Rob Kerr Jr. (Marybeth) of Pomfret, CT..
