It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter R. Munson Jr. of Kensington, Connecticut, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Munson Sr. and Hazel E. Munson (Nyack); and his brother Charles Munson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Munson (McHale O'Connell); his stepchildren, Lynn DeLima, Karen Juchniewicz, Elaine Fargo and Colleen Kim; his grandchildren, Laura, Allie, Emily, Jonathan, Hannah, Rebekah, Andrew and Aaron; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Karl, Barbara and Marilee.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kensington Congregational Church (312 Percival Ave, Berlin, CT 06037).
