With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia E. Rao of Kensington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Virginia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Virginia. Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Deutsch and Emily Deutsch; and her son John Michael Rao. She is survived by: her husband John J. Rao; her sister Diane L. Deutsch of Killington, VT; her sister-in-law Judith Redford of Phoenix, AZ; and her nieces, Emily Deutsch and Andrea Munks. She is also survived by many cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St Paul Church (485 Alling St, Berlin, CT 06037). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 708 Southington Rd, Berlin, CT 06037.
