It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna (Zabrensky) DelCegno of Kensington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Zabrensky and Verna Zabrensky; her brothers, Leon and Michael Zabrensky; and her niece Janet Dahlgren.
She is survived by: her husband Carl DelCegno; her children, Joseph and Lisa; her sister Judith Dahlgren-Dechand (Zabrensky); her nephews, Robert Dahlgren, Kevin, Kyle and Kristopher Zabrensky; her brother-in-law John DelCegno; and her friends, Joan, Diane and Jeanne.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Home (45 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051).
