We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Thomas J. Higgins Jr. of Kensington, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Jeanne (Bilodeau); and his son Thomas Patrick. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Kurnik (Brian) of Berlin, Cara Staus (Jonathan) of Berlin and Katelyn Liegeot (Adam) of Berlin; his grandchildren, Jack, William, Madeline Kurnik, Aiden Staus and Grace Liegeot; his sisters, Marybeth Stanton of Southington and Jean Doyle (Donald) of Groton; his cousins, David McBride (Shawn) and Sarah Swatsworth (Robert); and his caregiver Darlene. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home (110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (485 Alling St, Berlin, CT 06037). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Lane Cemetery.
