It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Desrochers (Kensington, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bertrand Desrochers; her parents, Norbert Roux and Anna Roux (Roberge); her son James Desrochers; and her grandson Justin Desrochers.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Christine Desrochers of Kensington; her daughters, Laura McQueeney (Jon McQueeney) of Summerfield, FL and Diane Rode of East Haddam; her son-in-law Gary Rode; her grandsons, Evan Desrochers, Charles Desrochers, Nicholas McQueeney and Cole Rode; and her great grandchildren, Arroyo Desrochers and Violet Desrochers.
