With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond J. Balavender Sr. of Kensington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on September 17, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Balavender (Groman); and his parents, Jan Balavender and Marya Balavender (Kobylarz). He is survived by: his sons, Henry Balavender (Gail), Mark Balavender (Diana), Jay Balavender, Paul Balavender (Kathleen) and Alan Balavender (Sandra); his grandchildren, Brett, Ryan, Adam, Krysten, Kyle, Kelly, Jared, Ethan, Julianne, Maeve and Blake; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Avery, Garrett, Jack, Kai, Nash, Carolina, Clayton, Emerson, Aya and Maya.
